Masih ramai di antara kita yang terkeliru di antara Amanah Saham Bumiputera dan Unit Amanah Saham Swasta (Unit Trust). Ada yang mengatakan bahawa :
1) Melabur di Unit Amanah Saham Swasta lebih menguntungkan berbanding dari Amanah Saham Bumiputera.
2) Melabur di Unit Amanah Saham Swasta berhadapan dengan risiko kerugian yang besar dan duit hangus begitu sahaja.
Bukannya untuk membanding-bandingkan kelebihan dan kekurangan untuk kedua-dua jenis pelaburan ini. Bukannya untuk membuktikan yang mana satu lebih menguntungkan dan merugikan. Sebaliknya, sebagai seorang pelabur kita harus tahu pengetahuan dan perkara-perkara asas di dalam sesuatu pelaburan tersebut.
